What is special about the layer palletizer PA15?

In the center of this initiative is our brand-new layer palletizer PA15, a floor-level solution that combines the advantages of a layer palletizer with the merits of an articulated-arm robot. The uniqueness of the PA15 is based on its patented data shaped hoist that can be equipped with one, two or three z axes. Thus, it is able to cover performance range of four to ten layers permanent as required.
What are the main functions of the infeed system ZF72?
The focus on modularity and scalability applies not only to the palletizer itself, but also to the downstream and upstream equipment such as infeed stations. Similiar to the PA15, the all new infeed station ZF72 can be easily equipped with one to three data robots to realize higher throughputs or to handle various product sizes. In combining this variability with a small footprint, we are addressing one of the top market trends in manufacturing logistics. The PA15 and the ZF72 are perfect examples of our continuous strive for attaining the best-in-class when it comes to gentle and accurate handling as well as sustainability. The PA15 includes a driven placement belt with a patented strip edge control. The products are conveyed instead of pushed. Just like the ZF72, which works without format pushers and cost-intensive compressed air. Flexible palletizing

The Layer Palletizer Langhammer PA15 offers flexible motion sequences and a gentle and careful handling of sensitive products. Through its compatibility with a variety of infeeds it is able to palletize almost any product. Due to its mechanical design, the Layer Palletizer PA15 is especially suited for handling high volumes and diverse packaging formats.

With its modular design and resulting high flexibility the Layer Palletizer PA15 fully meets central customer requirements. The Layer Palletizer PA15 is one of the core elements - fast but at the same time very gentle when palletizing sensitive products.

Instead of six or seven layers per minute, as is usual for palletizers, the PA15 can move up to ten layers per minute. Another benefit is that the system consists of modular units that can not only handle differently sized pallets and packages but can also be adjusted as required in terms of both length and width. This is made possible by its one-pillar structure. Instead of needing a full-scale housing the PA15 only has a small footprint. It enables the system to fit into tight spaces.
