What’s your history?
The company was originally formed in 1971 by the innovative entrepreneur Heinrich Langhammer. Since the founding of our company, we have been designing, manufacturing and assembling all machines at our location in Eisenberg. Our second location in Freiberg, Saxony was established in 1991. We’re facing very demanding times in terms of automation solutions for improving and anticipating the future needs of the value chain, with the help of new technologies and innovative concepts.

At Körber, we can offer complete turnkey solutions to our customers including software for warehouse management systems and voice solutions, automation solutions for warehouses and distribution centers as well as AMR solutions for order fulfillment. What do you produce here at the site?
Our conveyor technology and palletizers work precisely and reliably. On the one hand we offer our customers components and modules which are produced in series, and on the other hand unique customer determined and tailor-made products. This is only possible due to the high level of vertical integration in the production of our machines. We require a very flexible and adaptable manufacturing method. This means that there is a great variety in our production processes and requirements. Being as independent from suppliers as possible creates important advantages: Even with fluctuations in delivery times, we are able to deliver ordered machines on time.
