We are planning a complete new bulding, which will enable our continous business growth, support our key processes and fit with our Körber sustainability strategy
Where will the new building be located?
Our location in Grabs will be not relocated. The new building will be directly behind me, next to our current location, with around 20.000 m2 of assembly, logistic and office space, it will be quite a bit larger compared to our current building
Which aspects do you pay attention to during the planning phase?
Our new building has to be modern, functional and sustainable. These three aspects, combined with the different perspectives of our customers, employees and construction experts, form the guiding principles for our projects.

The building project at the Körber site in Grabs

To ensure our continuous growth also in the future, we are planning a new assembly, logistics and office building at the Körber site in Grabs. We are proud that our new building will not only provide more space for our employees, but also for customer orders. The consideration of ecological aspects plays key factor. The building is designed for efficient energy use (following the Swiss climate-conscious building standard Minergie-P). It contributes to achieving Körber's sustainability goals using geothermal and district heating as well as e-charging stations via photovoltaic systems. Efficient and process-optimized building floor plans, targeted use of new technology and systems and scalability are further key elements of the building and infrastructure design.
