Frequently Asked Questions

How would you describe Kurt A. Körber?

The first thing I associate with Kurt A. Körber is an incredible wealth of ideas. It is almost unbelievable how he developed ideas out of nowhere. The other thing is the enthusiasm of this man and the confidence he could have in you and also convey to you. There, in this context, a flight in a glider or a powered glider demonstrated this to me in an extreme way, where he really let me experience this to the utmost.

What special event do you associate with Kurt A. Körber?

For me, it was very nice, towards the end of his life, about a year before he died, to be able to give Kurt A. Körber something back, if I can call it like that. Namely at his request, I took him on a flight in a powered glider, and that thrilled him so much, to experience how he got acquainted with piloting an airplane for the first time, and how enthusiastic he was about the overall adventure of flying. And the fact that he had the confidence to fly with me at all, was a very nice final experience for me after so many years.
