What kind of machines are manufactured here?

In the last years we have built several machines in close cooperation with colleagues from across Körber Group. These were complex tasks in which engineers and fitters from different nations worked together over an extended period of time. In 2019, for example, we drew up the plans for a brand new laboratory unit, the prototype of which was manufactured here in Pécs. The collaboration resulted in the manufacturing of a fast and precise pharmaceutical quality control unit. With our entrepreneurial mindset and real teamwork, we were able to prepare everything and produce the machine in the expected quality in just a few months.

Can you give an example of a big challenge?

Another major professional challenge was a customized packaging machine. The equipment, which meets the high quality standards of the pharmaceutical industry, was entirely designed, manufactured and assembled by the Körber Campus team in Pécs. The machine incorporates all of the complex production technologies of the factor, both for the production of chips and sheet metal parts. It therefore includes a number of technical feats and technological innovations.

What distinguishes you from a mass producer?

We are also proud manufacturer of the Körber Business Area Technologies for decades now, producing the most complex and innovative equipment and machines. The main difference between van and car factory and us is that while they build 100,000 products of the same, we build a large variety of individual machines, but only in a very limited number.
